Robbie Anderson causes a scandal during the Carolina Panthers’ game against the Los Angeles Rams. The wide receiver gets into it with the coaches – and has to go to the locker room.
Munich – The Carolina Panthers just fired head coach Matt Rhule on Tuesday. There was supposed to be peace at last. But far from it.
During the away game on Game 6 at the Los Angeles Rams, Robbie Anderson caused plenty of trouble. The eccentric wide receiver caused a scandal during the 10:24 defeat.
Anderson got into it several times with members of the coaching staff on the sideline. Interim head coach Steve Wilkes took action and kicked the pass receiver off the team for that game and ordered him to the locker room.
After multiple arguments with coaches on the sidelines, Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilkes has kicked WR Robbie Anderson out of the game and sent him to the locker room.

This suggests another departure for the Panthers. After Rhule, this could also be the wide receiver leaving Charlotte. Especially before the trading deadline on November 1, Carolina is likely to try to ship the querent for value after all.
Not just for Anderson, the Panthers are also looking to listen to offers for star player Christian McCaffrey. According to reports, the Super Bowl 50 contender would be willing to let the running back be drafted for several first-round picks.
Anderson played for the New York Jets from 2016 to 2019 before transferring to Carolina. In the 2020 season, he caught passes for 1096 yards and three touchdowns. This season, he stands at 206 yards and one touchdown.
