With the NFL trade deadline looming, the Arizona Cardinals seem to be receiving various trade offers for star receiver DeAndre Hopkins. The franchise, however, rejects all offers.
Munich – As part of the trade deadline last Tuesday, there were several big-name players in the NFL who were traded to another franchise.
One who will remain with his current team is Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins. According to “NFL Network”, there was no shortage of potential suitors. Several interested teams are said to have tried to sign the pass receiver.
However, it is not known which teams have contacted the Cardinals with trade offers.
Arizona Cardinals rejected Hopkins trade
But it seems clear at least why Arizona has rejected any offers. Hopkins is finally back on the field for the team after a six-game suspension. In his two games since, he has 22 catches for 262 yards.
For the Cardinals, who currently stand at 3-5, he should become a key component in the remaining games of the regular season to possibly make the playoffs.
