Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray to remain starting quarterback “without a doubt”

The Arizona Cardinals have notched up their second win since Kyler Murray’s comeback. Will he remain the starter next season? If head coach Jonathan Gannon has his way, then yes.

The quarterback class of the upcoming NFL draft is, at its peak, loaded with talent. Several teams are scrambling for one of these playmakers.

The Arizona Cardinals have – as of now – a good starting position for such a quarterback with the fourth pick in the draft. However, as head coach Jonathan Gannon has now confirmed, the Cards do not want to get a playmaker with this pick.

When asked at a presser about the possibility of drafting a quarterback, Gannon simply said with a grin, “It doesn’t exist.”

“There’s no doubt about it. Our number one is our number one quarterback,” Gannon said.

Thus strengthening Kyler Murray’s back in time for probably his best game of the season in the 35-31 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Murray earns a total of 230 million dollars in his current five-year contract, which begins next season.
