Arizona Cardinals: Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury tested positive for Corona

The Arizona Cardinals will have to do without Kliff Kingsbury in their duel with the Cleveland Browns. The head coach tested positive for the corona virus, as did two other members of his staff and general manager Steve Keim.

Munich – For the Arizona Cardinals the game on Game 6 against the Cleveland Browns is not under a good star.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury will miss the game because of a positive coronatest. The same goes for quarterbacks coach Cam Turner and tackle Zach Allen.

Linebacker Chandler Jones had already been confirmed to have an infection a few days earlier, landing him on the team’s Covid 19 list. General manager Steve Keim also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Duo to replace Kingsbury

Kingsbury’s duties will be split between Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph and Special Teams Coordinator Jeff Rodgers, who will also serve as Head Coach Assistant.

The Cardinals enter the sixth round of the season as the only undefeated team. Their most recent win was a hard-earned 17-10 over division rival San Francisco 49ers.

On Friday, Kingsbury was still in charge of his team’s practice and had met with media representatives. The 42-year-old had most recently declared that the Cardinals were “100 per cent inoculated”.
