Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim is taking time off from the NFL due to health reasons.
Munich – Steve Keim, general manager of the Arizona Cardinals, is taking time off from the NFL. The franchise confirmed this in an official statement.
“General Manager Steve Keim is taking time off for health reasons. The team declines to comment further, citing privacy laws,” the team’s statement reads. It is not known how long Keim will take a break. The “NFL Network” speaks of time off “indefinitely. “
Arizona Cardinals: Quarterback Kyler Murray out with torn ACL
Keim has been with the Cardinals since 1999 and has served as GM since 2013. On an interim basis, Quentin Harris (Vice President of Player Personnel) and Adrian Wilson (Vice President Pro Personnel) will take over his duties.
That continues to give no rest to the franchise, which stands at 4-9 after Week 14 and in third place in the NFC West.
On Sunday, Arizona, which lost quarterback Kyler Murray to a torn ACL last weekend, will face the Denver Broncos.
