The German-American celebrates an impressive victory with the Detroit Lions against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Meanwhile, Deshaun Watson makes his NFL comeback
Munich – Amon-Ra St. Brown scored touchdowns number five and six on the 13th day of the NFL season.
The wide receiver won with the Detroit Lions against the Jacksonville Jaguars 40:14 and again caught passes for over 100 yards of space gain.
In his still young NFL career, the German-American now has twelve touchdowns.
St. Brown’s older brother Equanimeous lost with the Chicago Bears 19:28 against his former club Green Bay Packers. The pass catcher was traded to the Windy City before the season.
Deshaun Watson makes comeback
Meanwhile, quarterback Deshaun Watson has left room for improvement in his NFL comeback after his lengthy suspension for sexual harassment expired. In his first outing for the Cleveland Browns, the football star failed to complete a touchdown pass at his former club Houston Texans.
Watson threw one interception and completed 12 of 22 passes in Cleveland’s 27-14 win.
The NFL had increased a suspension for Watson from six to 11 games in mid-August for allegedly dating numerous women for massages between March 2020 and March 2021 – 25 filed complaints.
Watson, then still with the Texans, allegedly solicited sexual acts. Most of the cases have since been settled out of court.
