Munich – After a fairly unspectacular rookie season with little playing time, last year’s first-round pick Trey Lance’s NFL career could really take off this upcoming season. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback is expected to enter the season as the starter, with Jimmy Garoppolo still in the trade shop window.

Looking ahead to his first season, Lance now revealed during an interview with the website “49ers Webzone” that he suffered a finger injury before the start of the season – with long-lasting consequences.
