Court instead of Super Bowl: Eagles pro charged with kidnapping and rape.

While his teammates prepare for the Super Bowl, Eagles guard Josh Sills is charged with kidnapping and rape.

Josh Sills of the Philadelphia Eagles is facing charges.

The NFL rookie has been charged with kidnapping and rape by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

According to their press release, the now 25-year-old allegedly held a woman “against her will” and raped her in December 2019.

The offensive guard was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent before the season and made the franchise’s roster.

Sills, however, has only appeared in one game – a 20-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals in October 2022.

He will also be absent from the Super Bowl on 12 February against the Kansas City Chiefs. Four days later he has to appear in court.

He is currently not allowed to practice or play in any Eagles games.
