In the late window of Sunday’s games, the NFL RedZone broadcast had to be stopped. The reason was an alarm
Surprising events during the broadcast of the late NFL games on Sunday evening: due to an alarm, the NFL RedZone studio had to be evacuated.
During the fourth quarter of Sunday’s late games, Scott Hanson, host of the “RedZone” conference, spoke up, “I’ve never experienced anything like this in my long career, but you can certainly hear the sirens in the background. We have to leave the building. The reason for the alarm is not known.”
He continued: “The studio I’m in has to be evacuated at the moment. We are all fine at the moment. We’re staying calm, but we’re following protocols, as I’m sure you all would at your workplaces.”
The broadcast then stayed on the single game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills. The rest of the games were either over anyway – or about to be.
A few minutes later, Scott Hanson was heard again, so he and his team were able to return to the studio.
However, Hanson limited his speaking time afterward. The single game between the Bills and Eagles was shown. But Hanson did not – as usual – intervene from time to time with comments or results from other games.
Well, that was…. interesting.
Alarm has stopped.
Apparently all clear.
Still waiting on details. Thanks for watching NFL RedZone week 12 ! One to remember.

The moderator then cautiously gave the all-clear on social media: “The alarm has ended. Apparently everything is safe. We’re still waiting for the details. Thanks for tuning in. This will not soon be forgotten!”
A spokesperson for the “NFL Network” later explained to “ESPN” that it was a false alarm in the studio
