Safety Deshazor Everett of the Washington Football Team has been seriously injured in a car accident, but is not in danger of losing his life. A female passenger dies in the accident.
Cologne – Safety Deshazor Everett of the Washington football team has been seriously injured in a car accident. The league made the announcement on Christmas Eve.
Everett, who is being treated at the hospital but is not in life-threatening condition, was reportedly driving the car. A female passenger died in the accident, which is not believed to have involved any other car.

“Our thoughts are with everyone involved in this tragedy. We have alerted the league and are working closely with local authorities to gather more information,” the WFT wrote in a statement.
According to the relevant police authority, Everett went off the road in his Nissan GT-R at around 9:15pm local time, crashed into several trees and overturned. Investigations are ongoing into the cause of the accident.

Everett (29) was initially signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a 2015 Undrafted Free Agent and received a three-year contract. However, he was released after just a few months.
That same year, he landed on Washington’s practice squad and later earned a roster spot. In the current season he has been used in all 14 games so far – mostly on special teams.
