Tom Brady will have a different perspective on the NFL in future – as a TV pundit alongside the field on Fox. The 46-year-old is looking forward to the new chapter in his life.
Tom Brady will in future be seen as an NFL expert on TV on “FOX Sports”. Even before his career ended, Brady signed a ten-year contract with the TV giant worth $375 million, or $37.5 million a year. Just as an aside: Brady never earned that much per year during his active NFL time.
Now the seven-time Super Bowl winner has spoken on the “Let’s Go! podcast about his new role: “I was very blessed to be able to play in the NFL for so long and I loved it. Now I’m watching others play and seeing football from a different perspective. I’ll be at FOX and have a chance to start a different career. I’ll need a lot of help from different people, though.”
Exactly when Brady will start his pundit career, however, is not yet known.
He already made his debut at the college kickoff last matchday, but his contract with “FOX” does not officially start until 2024. Nevertheless, it would not be surprising and would certainly please one or two people if Brady were to be seen on the screens a time or two as early as this season.
But first Brady has to learn what it takes in his new role on television to make it as successful as his NFL career.
