On the SiriusXM radio podcast, Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray take turns welcoming different guests.

In the latest edition, hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg was the guest, who really blossomed in the talk with the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But Brady also chatted out of the closet.

Brady: “Snoop. When were you most stoned in your life?”

Snoop: “With Willie F***ing Nelson. It was in Amsterdam after his concert. We were in his hotel room trying to compete: who could take more? He absolutely destroyed me and I got higher and higher and higher. He didn’t stop and kept giving me another joint. I thought to myself, this old mother****er out-smoked me here now!? But I didn’t want to stop and show weakness like that. After 15 minutes I said: “Hey, Willie. Let’s get something to eat.” So we went to Kentucky Fried Chicken and got a huge bucket of wings. We reached in at the same time and had the same chicken leg in our hands. I just looked at him and said, “He’s all yours, dude. “

Jim Gray: “The Patriots embarrassingly gave away a possible overtime against the Raiders. What will coach Bill Belichick have said after the game?”

Brady: “Of course, now everybody’s talking about the final play, which failed magnificently and is being shown everywhere. But Bill, in the analysis, will show the team 20 other situations and say, ‘Look, if we had done this and this differently here, we could have won.’ And I think that quality makes him one of those outstanding coaches.'”

Gray: “Snoop. As someone who hasn’t won umpteen rings with the Patriots and Belichick. What do you think Belichick did with the team after the game?”

Snoop: “He’ll have cursed the sh*t out of himself. Like, ‘Do your fucking job. How many times do I have to tell you? You don’t listen to me. Do your job!’ I can also hear Mr. Kraft probably saying to Belichick afterwards, ‘Bill! I told you, these guys don’t know what they’re doing. They should have just taken a knee and gone into overtime.'”

Brady on Christmas without the family

Gray: “You’re going to play your first Christmas football, what’s that going to be like?”

Brady: “It’s a new experience that I’ve never had before. So I’ve got to learn how to deal with that. I have to learn to deal with being in a hotel at Christmas. But I’m looking forward to the days after, when I can see my kids again and then follow up Christmas. “

Brady on raising his children

Gray: “Things aren’t going so well with your Tampa Bay Buccaneers yet this year. How are you handling that?”

Brady: “It’s a lesson I teach my kids, too. I tell them, ‘I want you guys to lose once in a while. I really want you to lose sometimes. I want to see what happens when you guys lose.'”
