Tom Brady admits: Will soon have no more desire to compete

With his retirement from retirement, Tom Brady has caused a sensation in the NFL. Now the quarterback declares that his desire for athletic competition is already noticeably waning.

Munich – Just 40 days after Tom Brady declared his NFL retirement, the quarterback superstar announced his comeback.

But although the playmaker has made it clear on several occasions that he does not want to go through a farewell tour, the time to say goodbye will soon come. “I had the desire to compete, but that will soon be over,” the seven-time Super Bowl winner now explained on the “Dan Patrick Show”.

He added: “There’s no doubt about that and I’ve got to really enjoy the time I have left because there’s not much left. “

Brady becomes 2023 free agent

While the 44-year-old has not stated that the upcoming season will be his last, most fans and pundits assume it will be. Should things work out for Brady, who becomes a free agent in 2023, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or another franchise, however, a continuation of his career is not out of the question. There have been repeated rumours in recent months about a move to the Miami Dolphins.

“TB12” has already said several times that he doesn’t want to stop as long as he thinks he can play better than the other quarterbacks in the league.

However, his career is apparently not likely to last too much longer due to his declining desire to compete.
