The Scouting Combine shows that the NFL can look forward to fast running backs in the draft. No less than three players rank in the top 8 in history with their time
The NFL can look forward to fast players!
At the Scouting Combine, three running backs have entered the history books. Devon Achane, Jahmyr Gibbs and Keaton Mitchell all posted one of the eight fastest times ever by a running back in the 40-yard dash.
Best of the three was Texas A&M’s Achane, who ran 4.32 seconds, the fourth-fastest time ever at his position – also the fastest time since 2014.
