Ryan Fitzpatrick: “Josh Allen still doesn’t know how good he is”

Ryan Fitzpatrick hands out declarations of love to the Buffalo Bills, the fans and current quarterback Josh Allen in his farewell podcast. The “still doesn’t know how good he is,” Fitzpatrick said.

Munich – Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Buffalo Bills – that will always be a very special relationship.

The recently retired iconic quarterback confirmed as much in his unofficial “farewell press conference,” on ESPN reporter Adam Schefter’s podcast.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever felt more comfortable in a stadium or with a fan base than I did in Buffalo, where I was for four years, but those are my people,” said Fitzpatrick, who played there from 2009 to 2012. “I feel like I understand them and they understand me. And it’s been one of the greatest pleasures of my career to play in Buffalo.”

It’s no surprise, then, that the quarterback who is his own personal favourite is Josh Allen. The 26-year-old has played in Buffalo since 2018 and has become the face of the franchise. He is expected to lead the Bills to the Super Bowl in the near future.

Ryan Fitzpatrick: “Allen makes it look so effortless “

“Josh Allen is my favourite because he makes it look so effortless, he’s so talented and he still doesn’t know how good he is,” Fitzpatrick said. “He’s just going to keep getting better, but it doesn’t hurt that he’s playing in Buffalo either. It also doesn’t hurt that he fits right in with this city in terms of the way he is and the way he acts. He’s so humble that his teammates will always play hard for him. “
