Richard Sherman could probably join the sports show “Undisputed”. However, that would involve a curious collaboration with an ex-roommate.
Is there a spectacular reunion of Richard Sherman and Skip Bayless? As Andrew Marchand of the “New York Post” reports, the NFL cornerback Sherman is considered one of the candidates to succeed Shannon Sharpe on the sports show “Undisputed” on the channel “Fox Sports”.
Sharpe and Bayless had hosted the show together. Sherman at Bayless’s side would be curious, however: ten years ago, the two had a heated argument on an “ESPN” programme. At the time, Sherman had said, among other things, “In my 24 years of life, I’ve handled life better than you have.”
The highlight of Sherman’s NFL career was winning the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014. He was selected by the franchise in the fifth round of the 2011 draft.
The US American has not yet announced the end of his career, but a return to the pitch is considered extremely unlikely. The cornerback was last under contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.
Sherman knows the TV role
In June of last year, he announced he would be joining Amazon’s Thursday Night Football production as a TV pundit.
Undisputed is currently on summer break and will be back on air at the end of August – perhaps with the duo of Sherman and Bayless.
