Richard Sherman becomes TV pundit – is his career over?

Richard Sherman’s active career is probably over. The cornerback will be working as a TV expert in the future.

Munich – Richard Sherman has not yet officially ended his career. But his announcement that he will be a TV pundit on Amazon’s Thursday Night Football production suggests just that.

The cornerback shared an announcement from the rights holder on Twitter.

The 34-year-old will thus become a colleague of Hall-of-Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez, who is also involved in the transfers. According to media reports, recently retired quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will also be a pundit.

Sherman joined the Seattle Seahawks as a fifth-round pick in 2011 and won the Super Bowl in February 2014. He was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2018 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.

Sherman was notable in his career not only for his sporting achievements, but also for his trash talk. He also regularly spoke out in public on political or socially critical topics such as racism or police violence.
