Attention NFL fans: there’s something important to note this weekend! On Sunday, the games will start an hour earlier than usual.
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, there will be different kickoff times in the NFL.
While clocks in Germany are set back one hour on the night from Saturday to Sunday, in the US this traditionally happens a week later.
For NFL fans in Germany, this means that games will start an hour earlier this weekend.
NFL kickoff times: What time do the games start on Sunday?
Instead of the usual 7:00 p.m. start time, the first games on the 8th NFL game day on Sunday, October 26, will start at 6:00 p.m. German time.
This also applies to the later slot game, which will start at 9:05 p.m. instead of the usual 10:05 p.m., as well as the games that normally start at 10:25 p.m., but will start at 9:25 p.m. on October 26.
Time change: Which NFL games are still affected?
Both the Sunday Night Game and the Monday Night Game in Week 8 will start an hour earlier in Germany.
On Sunday night/Monday morning, Sunday Night Football between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers will kick off at 1:20 a.m.
The Monday Night Game between the Washington Commanders and the Kansas City Chiefs will begin at 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday night.
Next week’s Thursday Night Game will also be affected: instead of the usual 2:15 a.m. kickoff, the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins will face off at 1:15 a.m. on October 31.
NFL schedule: When will kickoff times return to “normal”?
In the US, the clocks will change on the night of Saturday, November 1, to Sunday, November 2.
Starting with the Sunday games in Week 9 of the NFL, all games will return to their usual times.
