For his first season as quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady is always grabbing youngsters for joint workouts. Now he has taken Shedeur Sanders, son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, under his wing as a training partner.
At Berkeley Preparatory School, Tom Brady is preparing for his debut season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with training sessions. On Sunday he had the son of a real Hall of Famers as his training partner: Shedeur Sanders, offspring of Deion Sanders, trained together with the star quarterback.
“I’m learning from Goat and soaking up all his knowledge,” Shedeur Sanders tweeted. He is also a quarterback – currently at Trinity Christian School in Texas – and has already received college offers from Alabama, Baylor, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Brady’s former University of Michigan, among others.

Deion Sanders wrote about his son’s training with Brady: “There are things in life that you cannot teach your son, even as a father. But God always opens a way if the will is there. Tom Brady, I thank you and love what a man, father and athlete you are.”

The now 52-year-old Deion Sanders was an eight-time pro bowler as a cornerback and won the Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys.
It was not the first time that Brady threw balls with the child of an old companion. For example, he trained with David Terrell Jr., the then eight-year-old son of his former college teammate David Terrell.
