NFL – Tom Brady jokes about Aaron Rodgers: “I guess he’s part owner of the Bears now”

Last Sunday Aaron Rodgers drew attention to himself after his touchdown against the Chicago Bears by shouting “I still own you” into the audience. Now Tom Brady has also commented on it – as is so often the case when it goes in Rodgers’ direction, not entirely seriously.

Munich – Aaron Rodgers made headlines against the Chicago Bears in week six of the NFL not so much with his inconspicuous as strong performance (195 yards, three touchdowns in total), but much more with his cheering for the pre-deciding third end zone visit.

When several Bears fans directed less than youthful gestures in Rodgers’ direction, he shouted “I still own you” in their direction. It was Rodgers’ 24th win against the Bears.

Brady jokes about Rodgers: “I guess he’s officially part owner now “

On Wednesday, of course, Rodgers’ rival Tom Brady also commented. Speaking on “SiriusXFL Radio”, the seven-time Super Bowl champion began by saying, “Before we get started I’d like to congratulate Aaron Rodgers,” Brady said mischievously.

“I knew he was a great quarterback, but I guess now he’s officially part owner of the Bears. That’s great to hear!” Brady himself will take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, against whom he probably couldn’t help but take this side swipe.

The 44-year-old himself knows the feeling of being so dominant against a single team. He won a sensational 32 of 35 games against the Buffalo Bills and 30 of 38 games in his career against the New York Jets.

So you could also confidently see Tom Brady as the owner of at least one of the two franchises.
