NFL: Snoop Dogg to play a special role in Christmas Game

On December 25, the Minnesota Vikings will face the Detroit Lions in the NFL’s Christmas Games. Rapper Snoop Dogg will make a special appearance.

The NFL has now announced which star will be responsible for the halftime show during the Christmas Game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions.

Rapper Snoop Dogg will headline the halftime show at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

“NFL, Netflix, and your Uncle Snoop for Christmas? We’re serving up music, love, and good cheer for the whole world,“ Snoop Dogg said in an announcement video about his upcoming performance. The 54-year-old has already announced something special for his halftime show: ”This is the kind of Christmas magic that Santa can’t pack in a sack.”

Halftime Show: Snoop Dogg follows Beyonce

Snoop Dogg is thus virtually the successor to superstar Beyonce. Last year, she was the center of attention during the halftime show on Christmas Game Day during the match between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans. The game in Minneapolis on December 25, 2025, will be the second NFL game on that day, with the Dallas Cowboys facing off against the Washington Commanders beforehand.
