Russell Wilson is working hard on his form in the offseason. In his new home with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the star quarterback is exploring long-forgotten paths
After his chapter to forget with the Denver Broncos, Russell Wilson wants to make a fresh start with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
To get back to his absolute top form of days gone by, the star quarterback is breaking new ground in the offseason.
Back in the ring.
Started in 2018 through 2020.
Had some of my best years.
Then COVID hit in 2020 and couldn’t go back in. Good to see my guys again Freddy Roach & Marvin Somodio

On “X” (formerly Twitter), the 35-year-old posted a video and several photos showing him in boxing training. “Back in the ring. Started in 2018 and continued until 2020. Had some of my best years. Then COVID-19 hit in 2020 and I couldn’t get back into it,” Wilson wrote in his post.
Wilson then turned to the experienced boxing coaches Freddy Roach and Marvin Somodio, whom he would now see again and with whom he also took a photo.

But that’s not all, because boxing isn’t the only thing on the veteran’s training schedule. Wilson also posted a video of himself sprinting on the UCLA football field.
Wilson was traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Denver Broncos in 2022 and signed a five-year contract worth 242.5 million dollars a few months later. In March of this year, however, the pass rusher was released early and joined the Steelers, where he signed a one-year contract worth 1.21 million dollars.
