Five-time Pro Bowl participant Jimmy Graham has been hit by a car while riding his bicycle. His wound looked “like it had worms growing out of it,” a friend reported.
Former Bears tight end Jimmy Graham was hit by a car while riding his bicycle earlier this week.
According to A.J. Hawk, Graham’s friend and former Packers linebacker, the 36-year-old suffered a deep wound to his leg.
Hawk said on Wednesday’s “Pat McAfee Show” that the incident occurred in Miami. A car made a sudden left turn and hit Graham, he said.

Graham jokes about the accident
Graham is a five-time Pro Bowl participant, has competed in the NFL for the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks. Graham joked that he did more damage to the car than the car did to him, Hawk reported.
However, the accident was not quite so mild. “He has a wound on his calf that looks like it has worms growing out of it,” Hawk said. “It was so deep and you could see all the stuff in there. Now he’s going to need a lot of stitches.”
Other than the gash, however, Graham did not sustain any other serious injuries.
