NFL: Name of team owner appears several times in newly released Epstein documents

The name of an NFL owner appears several hundred times in newly released files relating to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

On Friday, the US Department of Justice released further files relating to the scandal surrounding convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. More than three million pages of documents and thousands of videos and photos are available. This publication is likely to be particularly interesting for the New York Giants. According to US media reports, the documents reveal that Epstein introduced Steve Tisch, co-owner of the Big Apple franchise, to numerous women.

According to the documents, Tisch’s name appears at least 440 times in the previously unpublished files. In the corresponding emails, the conversations range from everyday matters, such as making dinner arrangements, to vulgar remarks.

A report in The Athletic quotes a conversation between Tisch and Epstein in which the criminal asked the NFL club owner: “Did you contact the one with the great ass and fake tits? She has an older boyfriend who attends acting school and has a 10/10 ass. I’m happy to have you as a new, but obviously like-minded, friend.”

Giants owner comments on Epstein contact

In further conversations from 2013, topics discussed include a “Ukrainian girl,” a Russian woman who “rarely tells the truth but is funny,” and a possible prostitution job for another woman.

The 76-year-old Tisch, co-owner and vice president of the Giants, has also produced countless Hollywood films, including “Forrest Gump,” during his professional career.

“We had a brief connection in which we exchanged emails about adult women and also discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments,” he said of his contact with Epstein.

He continued: “I never accepted any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person, and I deeply regret having been associated with him.”

Incidentally, Josh Harris, owner of the Washington Commanders, the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA, and the New Jersey Devils of the NHL, also appears in the files. However, his correspondence was conducted solely through assistants and concerned Epstein’s desire to arrange business meetings. Harris himself apparently tried to avoid meeting with Epstein.
