The anticipation for the NFL Munich Game between the Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants on November 10 is growing. The musical program has now also been officially announced.
The exceptional German violinist David Garrett will perform the US national anthem before the NFL Munich Game.
“I am American or rather have American citizenship, my mother is from the USA. So this is a great honor for me. Especially at an NFL game in the Allianz Arena in front of 80,000 people. I’m really looking forward to it, and it’s also the first time that I’ve played the American national anthem. Otherwise, I’ve mostly played the German national anthem at sporting events,” says the virtuoso of string instruments, looking forward to his performance.
He is a fan of the New York Giants himself and, as a New Yorker by choice, is all the more pleased to be able to perform before his favorite team’s game.

The German national anthem will be sung by singer and rapper Florentina.
“It’s a special opportunity to perform in front of so many people, and I hope that I can reach both the fans in the stadium and the viewers in front of the screens with my interpretation of the anthem,” said the musician, who is best known on TikTok.
