The game will be played at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium. The Colts had already been confirmed as the team for the Berlin game. However, the question of who would be Indianapolis’ opponent, for whom it is an official home game, remained open.
According to reports from sources close to the franchise, the Denver Broncos and head coach Sean Payton were keen to go to Berlin and play against the Colts. Now, however, it looks like it will be the Falcons.
As @MileHighReport noted, Sean Payton and the Broncos wanted to visit the Colts in Germany, but it’ll be the Falcons instead.
Sources say the Colts blocked the Broncos from being selected as their opponent in Berlin, which resulted in the league sending them to London. https://t.co/4okjuYMGOa

Because, as the “X” nerds also report, the Colts are said to have “blocked” the Broncos as opponents in Berlin. Therefore, the Broncos will probably play their European game in London.
