The NFL will be in Germany twice in the 2023 season. All fans who want to be present at one of the Frankfurt Games must register in advance.

German NFL fans are already in the starting blocks – for the run on tickets to the Frankfurt Games. According to NFL Germany boss Alexander Steinforth, around three million ticket requests were received for last year’s Munich Game – the first regular-season game on German soil. Accordingly, the vast majority of ticket hunters had to go away empty-handed.

This time, however, the chances of success are much greater, because the NFL is coming to the banking metropolis of Hesse for two games. First, the reigning Super Bowl winners Kansas City Chiefs will face the Miami Dolphins on 5 November, and one week later the New England Patriots will take on the Indianapolis Colts.

Frankfurt Games tickets: fans must register in advance

The route to the tickets has already been mapped out. The first step for all interested parties is to register. The website presented by the NFL and the Bundesliga – the cooperation partner for the Frankfurt Games – informs that registration is “the only way to gain access to ticket sales for the NFL Frankfurt Games 2023 on the first day of official sales”.

However, registration does not guarantee that tickets will actually be available later. Further details and the date of the ticket sale will be announced “in due course”, it says.

NFL is coming to Frankfurt: Ticket sales are on like last year

For registration, first and last name, an e-mail address, the favourite NFL team – here there is also the option “no favourite team” -, the ticket type – either ticket only, ticket with VIP ticket or ticket with hotel -, date of birth, country and postcode must be entered. As a further prerequisite, the terms of use of the NFL must be agreed to.

With the registration process, the NFL is sticking to the tried and tested procedure from the previous year. For the Munich Game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks (21:16), which took place on 13 November 2022, so-called premium packages went on sale in mid-June, with individual tickets following five weeks later. Within a very short time, the tickets were completely sold out.

So it is to be expected that the race for tickets will increase again in the summer. Then it will be important for the fans to grab their tickets quickly.
