The NFL reports 75 Corona cases within two days. That’s the most since the pandemic began.

Munich – The NFL has been hit with a serious Corona problem. Adam Schefter of “ESPN” reports that 75 players have tested positive for the Corona virus in the past two days. That’s the highest number since the pandemic began.

To date, it is unknown whether the NFL will adjust safety protocols to respond to the rising number of Corona cases. It could conceivably expand the mask requirement and reintroduce daily testing for all players.

For some teams, the outages are becoming a serious problem. For the Cleveland Browns, for example, several players on the offensive line and wide receiver Jarvis Landry have contracted the corona virus.

Beckham Jr. drops out with corona

The Los Angeles Rams had to place six players on the reserve/COVID19 list, including wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Christian McCaffrey, the Carolina Panthers’ star running back, also had to be placed on the list.

Other professional leagues are also affected by a serious Corona problem. In the NHL, several games have already had to be postponed.
