NFL Hall of Fame 2025: These stars are on the ballot for the first time

Players will once again be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2025. Who will be nominated as a candidate for the first time

The induction of former NFL greats into the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2024 has been completed, and now we are already looking ahead to next year. The candidates who will be nominated for the Hall of Fame for the first time in 2025 have been announced – and the list includes some legends.

The most prominent player is undoubtedly long-time Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who won the Super Bowl twice with the franchise against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Meanwhile, there are other prominent names on the list. Ex-Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly, longtime Patriots and Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri and Super Bowl winners Marshal Yanda (guard, Ravens), Aqib Talib (cornerback, Broncos, among others), Earl Thomas (safety, Seahawks), Marshawn Lynch (running back, Seahawks) and Terrell Suggs (linebacker, Ravens and Chiefs, among others).

To be accepted, the candidates need at least 80 percent of the votes
