Davis was selected in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft by Miami. After three seasons, he landed with the Indianapolis Colts via trade. There he was selected to the Pro Bowl in two seasons. In 2018, he ended his career as a Bills player at halftime of the game between Buffalo and the Los Angeles Chargers.
In his long NFL career, he made almost 400 tackles, 98 pass deflections and 22 interceptions.
