The NFL and the NFLPA have agreed to conduct daily coronate tests with the pros until September 5th. This was announced by the NFLPA on Wednesday. Previously, it was planned to conduct daily checks only over two weeks. Now the period has been extended.
Currently the training camps of the clubs are taking place, the season is scheduled to start on September 10th. In the camps, 56 players had tested positive by August 5. Unlike basketball (NBA) and ice hockey (NHL), the NFL does not want to carry out its season in a closed system (“bubble”). The preparatory games are cancelled this year.
