In an interview, wide receiver Davante Adams had words of praise for LeBron James. He said he could see the basketball superstar having a career in the NFL.
The NFL and the NBA – the two heavyweights are constantly being compared. Discussions also regularly break out among players in the respective top leagues about how good the stars would be in the other sport.
Wide receiver Davante Adams has now praised LeBron James in the highest terms.
For Adams, one thing is clear: “He would be one of the best wide receivers or tight ends in NFL history,” Adams praised during an appearance on the “Dan Patrick Show.”
Adams particularly highlighted James’ speed, which he said would make him a very good player.
LeBron James ahead of his 23rd NBA season
James, who turned 40 in December last year, completed his 22nd season in the NBA a few weeks ago. As things stand, he will play for the Los Angeles Lakers again next season.
Last season, he averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists.
James last played football in high school. According to his own statements, he received offers from the NFL during the 2011 NBA lockout to play tight end for the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks.
