NFL Combine 2022: Bubble should ensure its execution

The NFL Combine 2022 will take place inside a bubble. This is to ensure its safe execution. Players who do not comply with the rules will be sent home immediately.

Munich – After the Super Bowl is before the offseason and this begins with the NFL Combine. There, the college players are put through their paces and have to pass performance tests in order to recommend themselves for the NFL teams.

After the Combine did not take place last year due to the pandemic and the uncertain situation, the NFL will create a kind of “bubble” this year to protect the talents as well as possible from infection with the coronavirus.

There are also clear rules. Tom Pelissero, reporter for the NFL Network, reports that players are allowed to bring only one “medical person”. In a memo, the NFL also stated that players who disregard the rules will be sent home immediately and will not be allowed to continue at the Combine.

NFL Combine 2022: Particularly important for quarterback prospects?

The Combine will take place from 1 March in Indianapolis and will last a total of four days. During these four days, interested NFL teams will also have the opportunity to interview prospects. Unlike in previous years, all fitness tests will be conducted in one day.

The Combine could be especially important for quarterbacks in this draft class. Experts don’t see a real upcoming superstar at the QB position this year. However, with good performances at the Combine, Kenny Pickett and Co. could play their way into teams’ notebooks.

The draft begins on 28 April.
