Running back Kareem Hunt is currently causing a transfer drama in the NFL. The 28-year-old was supposed to sign with the New Orleans Saints – but the Indianapolis Colts intervened.

After the suspension of running back Alvin Kamara, Kareem Hunt was supposed to strengthen the backfield of the New Orleans Saints. This was reported by several NFL insiders. Only the obligatory medical check was still pending.

But at the last moment, the Indianapolis Colts apparently intervened, contacted Hunt and offered him a contract with better conditions. This, too, was confirmed by concurring media reports.

The 28-year-old is therefore now on his way to Indianapolis to pay the Colts a visit. Head coach Shane Steichen’s team is also looking for reinforcement at the position – given the uncertainty surrounding running back Jonathan Taylor.

Hunt amassed nearly 4,000 rushing yards, 1,800 receiving yards and 48 touchdowns in his career thus far.
