The brother of Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was found dead in a burned-out home in Virgina on Tuesday. On Thursday, police already arrested a suspect in the case.
Munich/Virgina – Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah of the Cleveland Browns is mourning the death of his brother. The latter’s body was found in a burned-out house in Hampton, Virginia, on Tuesday.
Police have already arrested a suspect in Orlando, Florida, “ESPN” reports. They are investigating the 23-year-old’s case for a possible homicide. The late Joshua Emmanuel Owusu-Koramoah had played linebacker for William & Mary College.

Arrest in connection with case
The arrested man is a 33-year-old male. He is suspected of murder and arson.
It is still unclear what the relationship between the suspect and the victim was.
Shortly after the death of his brother became known, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah returned to the USA from Africa. The 22-year-old had helped set up a youth football camp there.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was selected 52nd overall in the second round by the Cleveland Browns in the 2021 NFL Draft and had established himself as an important part of the Browns defence with a strong rookie season.
This past season, the linebacker collected 1.5 sacks, 49 solo tackles and two fumbles in 14 games.
