An arrest warrant has been issued against former NFL star Earl Thomas. The seven-time Pro Bowler is accused of disobeying a protective order.
Munich – An Austin, Texas judge has issued a warrant for the arrest of former NFL star Earl Thomas. According to the report, Thomas allegedly violated an order of protection on several occasions.
He allegedly wrote threatening messages to a woman and her child. Thomas’ lawyer confirmed that the woman is his still-wife. Thomas is currently in divorce proceedings.
In the messages, Thomas probably threatened violence. The relationship between Thomas and his wife already made negative headlines in 2020. At the time, his wife allegedly threatened him with a gun after she found Thomas in the bedroom with another woman.
Earl Thomas was released by the Ravens
Earl Thomas’ NFL career has also been on hold since the incident. The Ravens dismissed the safety prior to the 2020/21 season due to multiple negative incidents within the team.
A few weeks ago, Thomas was hinting at an NFL comeback, but after recent developments, that may be a distant memory again.
