There is one more game day left in the 2025 NFL regular season. This coming weekend will decide the final playoff spots, the remaining division titles, and thus also the seeding for the postseason.
Following the conclusion of the Week 17 Sunday Night Game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Chicago Bears, the league has now announced the exact schedule for Week 18, the final week of the regular season. And things are already heating up on Saturday.
On January 3 at 10:30 p.m. (CET), the NFC South summit between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers will take place. The winner will secure the division title and a spot in the playoffs, while the loser’s season will be over.
49ers vs. Seahawks on Saturday night
At 2:00 a.m. CET on Sunday morning, the 49ers will face the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West showdown. The winner of this head-to-head matchup will secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
The top spot in the AFC will be decided on Sunday evening at 10:25 p.m. in a remote duel between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos. Both teams go into the final game day with a 13-3 record, but the Broncos are ahead and have their fate in their own hands. Denver faces the Los Angeles Chargers, while the Patriots host the Miami Dolphins at the same time.
The final playoff spot will be decided on Sunday night/Monday morning at 2:20 a.m. The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Baltimore Ravens in what could be Aaron Rodgers’ last game. The winner takes the AFC North, the loser is out.
