Longtime NFL star Marshawn Lynch is arrested in Las Vegas. He was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to a police report.
Munich/Las Vegas – Ex-NFL star Marshawn Lynch has been arrested in Las Vegas. This was officially confirmed by the local police. According to the report, Lynch was noticed and stopped during a vehicle check. During the stop, officers determined that Lynch was driving “impaired”.
The former NFL pro was arrested for “Driving Under the Influence” (DUI) – driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol – and transported to the Las Vegas City Jail.

What punishment the 36-year-old will now face, or whether he will be charged and have to stand trial, is currently unknown.
Back in 2012, “Beast Mode” was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in California and received a two-year suspended sentence, as well as a fine of approximately 1000 US dollars.
Marshawn Lynch looks back on long NFL career
Lynch was drafted in the 1st round by the Buffalo Bills in the 2007 NFL Draft. He later moved to the Seattle Seahawks, with whom he also won the Super Bowl in the 2013 season.
The running back first announced his retirement after the 2015 season, but made his comeback in 2017 with the then Oakland Raiders. In the 2019 season, “Beast Mode” once again came out of retirement and returned to the Seattle Seahawks for a few games.
Currently, Lynch is, among other things, a share owner of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken and a special correspondent with the Seattle Seahawks.
