When asked whether Peyton Manning could imagine running an NFL franchise, the ex-quarterback has a clear answer.
Peyton Manning was honored for his social commitment at a banquet on Wednesday evening. In the run-up to the event, he was asked whether he could imagine running an NFL franchise.
The ex-quarterback’s answer was clear. He would rather stick to his “Monday Night Football” mancast with brother Eli. The show has just won its second Sports Emmy Award.
“Eli and I really have a lot of fun with the show. I think a big reason for that is that I do it from here in Denver and he does it from New Jersey,” Manning said.
“I think we’re very fortunate that we can do it and be home on the weekends […] 10 minutes after the show, we’re back home.” This allows us to “still be a part of our kids’ lives on the weekends. “
