Robert Griffin III wants to see Damar Hamlin on the cover of Madden NFL 2024 from video game manufacturer “EA”.

On Twitter, the 33-year-old wrote: “EA Sports should make Damar Hamlin the Madden 24 cover athlete.”

The former Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens quarterback as well as Heisman Trophy winner in 2011 stated, “Let’s celebrate a moment that brought us all together once, regardless of which team you root for.”

“Celebrate Denny Kellington and the professionals who saved his life with a statement describing all the work they did to save him and get him back on the field. It’s important that the youth know these facts and Madden has their attention,” Griffin added in a subsequent tweet.

Hamlin, safety for the Buffalo Bills, suffered cardiac arrest on the field on January 3 and was successfully resuscitated. In the meantime, the 25-year-old is even working on his comeback, on Tuesday he completed a full training session for the first time again.

Hamlin, however, has Madden competition: A favourite for the cover for Madden NFL 24 is said to be Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
