The NFL may have launched an investigation into the Cincinnati Bengals to look into why Joe Burrow didn’t show up on the Injury Report before the game against the Ravens. A video posted on social media could be the Bengals’ undoing.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was forced to leave Thursday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens in the second quarter due to a wrist injury and will be out for the rest of the season.
As “ESPN” reports, the NFL has now launched an investigation into the Cincinnati franchise, as the 26-year-old was not listed on the injury report before the game.
A video posted by the Cincinnati Bengals on “X” before the game shows that Burrow was already wearing some kind of splint around his wrist when he arrived. The Bengals have since deleted the post, but other videos are circulating on social media that appear to show a bandaged Burrow.
The @PrimeVideo broadcast showed this video of Bengals QB Joe Burrow getting off the team bus with a brace/wrap around his right wrist and thumb.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor explained in a press conference after the loss to the Ravens that Burrow only injured his wrist in the game. Taylor only found out about the bandaged wrist through the reactions on social media, he claimed.
NFL teams are obliged to make all injuries public in the Injury Report – violations of the rules can be punished with fines and the withdrawal of draft picks.
