Jason Kelce celebrates his way through the playoffs with his brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs. His own future is still open. Now Travis is also giving fans hope
Will Jason Kelce continue his career or not?
Philadelphia Eagles fans aren’t the only ones hoping that the center will stay in the NFL for another year. Supporters of other teams would also like it, as the 36-year-old is without question a guy who is good for the league.
Just recently, Jason Kelce himself fueled hopes that the rumors about the end of his career would remain rumors.
And now brother Travis Kelce has followed up
Travis Kelce: He wouldn’t bet
When asked if he thought his brother would stay on, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said ahead of the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers: “I think so. I don’t know. I’m not a gambler, but I think he’s got some football left in him,” Travis said.
When asked afterwards what the odds are, he wouldn’t get into specific odds. “I don’t know. I’ll leave that up to him.”
Jason Kelce still has not officially announced his retirement. Instead, he celebrated his way through the playoffs with Travis and will also be on hand for the Super Bowl.
He can’t hide the fact that the current party playoff weeks with his brother are doing something to him. “It’s a great feeling to be here on the field right now, for your teammates and for the guys who get the chance to play for the Super Bowl. Those are emotions. And those are situations you don’t get if you don’t keep going,” he said.
So will he continue? “I don’t know what’s going to happen with me,” he said.
