Munich – Michael Vick, long-time NFL quarterback and four-time Pro Bowler, could return to the field in the near future.
The news agency “Reuters” has learned that the 41-year-old is about to sign with the Fan Controlled Football League (FCF) and is expected to make his debut as early as next weekend.
The team with which the first pick of the 2001 draft will sign a contract will be announced in the course of the coming week.
Michael Vick faces Owens and Manziel in FCF
In FCF, Vick will face former NFL pros Johnny Manziel and Terrell Owens, among others. So it was reportedly his good friend Owens’ success in the league that prompted the playmaker to return to the field.
In the Fan Controlled Football League, eight teams are competing against each other in the current season on a reduced field with seven players each indoors. Fans can have their say by announcing plays online parallel to the game, for example.
