Floyd “Money” Mayweather is breaking ground for his buddy Antonio Brown and making an offer to NFL teams. With the prospect of $20 million, the living boxing legend wants to put the scandalous receiver back on the league’s radar.
Munich – Not much has been heard about Antonio Brown in the NFL cosmos since his topless as well as sensational exit from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Off the grid iron, he’s been seen more with stars and starlets from sports and pop culture lately. By Ye, formerly Kanye West, “AB” was appointed as a partner in his brand Donda Sports, with Floyd Mayweather he keeps fit in Miami.
While the friendship with the artist is also based on business, Brown and the former boxer fit like a glove on the sporting side. Both have rarely minced words or sold themselves short during their careers. Moreover, according to Mayweather, they both push each other to get better and better.
It’s no surprise that “Money” praises his buddy Brown to the skies and wants to see him back in the league. On “The Pivot Podcast” he sat down with Alex Rodriguez and talked about life in Miami, business and being an athlete. About this path, Mayweather also brought up Brown: “He’s still young, works so hard on himself every day. He’s still living football – I think he’s got at least four years left in the NFL. ”
Floyd Mayweather’s offer
Mayweather added that he has met Brown’s mother, a “great woman,” and that he believes Brown “is just misunderstood and just wants to be treated fairly. ”
As for how he wants to bring “AB” back into the league, the former boxer also let it be known straight away. “This goes out to all the teams that are watching this. We’re going to make them an offer: If you sign Brown and he plays the whole season without making any problems, they have to pay us $20 million. If he blows it, we’ll pay them 20 million. So, whoever wants to get involved, contact us. ”
On @thepivot, retired boxer @FloydMayweather offers a deal to any NFL team that signs free agent Antonio Brown:
“If they sign AB and AB go through the whole season, no problems at all, they got to give us $20 million. But if he mess up, then we got to give them $20 million.” pic.twitter.com/lcYyo5voxs

Apparently Brown has a new advocate. But whether any team in the NFL will actually take him up on this questionable offer is hard to imagine. Brown himself, in particular, has made sure of that in recent years. Apart from that, someone should explain to Mayweather how the cap space works again.
