Following the shock of Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest, his jersey has become a bestseller on the “Fanatics” website within the last few hours. All proceeds are to go towards his fundraising goal.

The NFL world is in shock. Safety Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills suffered a cardiac arrest during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Since then, teams, players and fans around the NFL have rallied together and done various things to support him. While some donated to Hamlin’s “GoFundMe” account, others bought his jersey.

Jersey revenue for fundraising goal

As announced by online retailer “Fanatics”, official merchandise partner of the NFL, Hamlin’s jersey has been by far the best seller on the site since the incident.

Michael Rubin, vice president of Fanatics, announced that all proceeds from jersey sales will go to Hamlin’s foundation.

“Fanatics, the NFL and the NFLPA will donate all proceeds from jersey sales to the ‘Chasing M’s Foundation’. Please, get well soon,” Rubin said on Twitter.

Fans, players and entire teams have donated continuously to the foundation since the incident. More than five million dollars have already been raised.
