Brave performance from Jayden Reed. The Michigan State wide receiver goes all out at the NFL Scouting Combine despite battling a serious eye infection
This college ace is tough.
Wide receiver Jayden Reed competed at the NFL Scouting Combine despite a serious eye infection and did well.
Even before his appearance, NFL insider Ian Rapoport had tweeted, “Michigan State wide receiver Jayden Reed is dealing with a severe eye infection so bad that one eye is almost completely closed. But he has decided to compete on the same stage as all the other players and get a full workout at the Combine. “

The rookie confirmed the report with a picture of his damaged-looking eye and the words, “I can confirm that.”
Despite the massive impairment, the 22-year-old completed the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds, leaving most of the other receivers behind. Reed, on the other hand, struggled a bit in the jumping drills and ended up at the back of the receiver field.
