A casual training session in the garden was all that was planned, but now football star Tyreek Hill is facing a lawsuit after an allegedly serious “tackle” against a female influencer. The Miami Dolphins wide receiver allegedly broke British player Sophie Hall’s leg in a physical attack last year
The 34-year-old influencer, plus-size model and actress filed the lawsuit in Broward County on February 23. The allegations against “Cheetah” Hill are assault and negligent and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Hill allegedly took the woman to the ground “forcefully and purposefully.” The fracture required surgical treatment, according to the indictment. Hall is seeking up to 75,000 dollars in compensation.
The allegations are “baseless”, said Hill’s lawyer Julius B. Collins according to ESPN. It is about “generating bad publicity for Mr. Hill in order to use intimidation tactics to get him to personally pay for Ms. Hall’s medical bills”.
During training at the NFL pro’s estate, Hall is said to have joined in and stopped the nimble Hill in a one-on-one. The scene apparently made the pass receiver’s family members present laugh. “Apparently Mr. Hill was embarrassed and he became angry,” the indictment states.
Hill met Hall when her son attended the receiver’s football camp. He then invited the influencer, who is followed by more than two million people on Instagram, to his home for a few days. The incident is said to have occurred there on June 28, 2023
