Alvin Kamara is arrested after playing in the Pro Bowl and charged with aggravated assault. The NFL lets him play even though it’s apparently known ahead of time that the police want to talk to him.
Munich – After Sunday night’s Pro Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Alvin Kamara was arrested and questioned by police. The running back of the New Orleans Saints is accused of aggravated assault.
According to a report by the online portal “TMZ.com”, the Las Vegas Police Department reportedly told the NFL “hours before” the game that Kamara was a “suspect in a case of aggravated assault”. Nevertheless, the league allowed the 26-year-old to participate in the game.
An NFL spokesperson has since commented on the matter to “Pro Football Talk”. “We were informed that law enforcement wanted to speak with him after the game about an incident. There was no warrant at that time and he said he would speak with law enforcement, which he did. “

The altercation occurred at a lift, Kamara punched the man a total of eight times. Three times when the man was already lying on the ground – this was announced after analysing the available video footage. A companion of the running back allegedly kicked the victim 16 times.
