Quarterback Colin Kaepernick not only completes a workout in front of league scouts this weekend, he also takes part in a throwing demonstration. He gets full support from former coach Harbaugh.
Munich – After the tumultuous events of the past few weeks, there would be little at this point to make Free Agency 2022 any crazier than it already is.
One of the exceptions, however, remains a possible NFL return for Colin Kaepernick. The 34-year-old has continued to stay fit since his informal “ban” in 2017 and has repeatedly indicated he wants to return to the field.
Already on Friday, the NFL stated that the playmaker will hold a workout session with potential draft candidates from the Michigan Wolverines college team on Saturday. NFL team officials will be allowed to attend the event and get a first-hand look at the playmaker’s abilities.

But that’s not all. According to the Detroit News, Kaepernick will serve as an honorary captain for the university’s Spring Game. His former NFL coach Jim Harbaugh, who was head coach with the 49ers in 2011 when the signal caller was drafted, is doing everything he can as coach of the Wolverines to bring his former protege back to the NFL.

To that end, Kaepernick will show off his throwing skills during halftime of the game. For example, he will throw to NFL receivers who are current free agents during the demonstration, which is sponsored by the student group “Wolverines Against Racism”.
