Adrian Peterson provides the next exclamation mark within the #blacklifesmatter movement: He announces that in future he will kneel during the hymn.
Waves of protest have been sparked by the recent comments of NFL quarterback Drew Brees on the controversial player protest during the American National Anthem.
I am a big fan of Drew Brees. I think he’s truly one of the greatest quarterbacks, but he should not have taken back his original stance on honoring our magnificent American Flag. OLD GLORY is to be revered, cherished, and flown high…

Peterson’s butting in
Now another NFL superstar took up the hatchet and joined the debate: Running-Back legend Adrian Peterson of the Washington Redskins.
“Without a doubt,” Peterson told “247sports” when asked if he would kneel during the anthem at this fall’s NFL launch. “We’re all gonna do that together.”
So the next bang is in an ongoing showdown between Donald Trump and the big boys in the league.
It will be interesting to see how the NFL officials position themselves once the game resumes.
